ABOUT US

Intellectual Property Protection Society of Nepal (IPPSON) was founded as a non-profit, non-government organization in 2069 BS (2012 AD). It is a legally registered entity with the Government of Nepal (GoN). Its main objectives are: • Creating awareness about IP rights to promote innovation and economic development in the country, • Acquiring and disseminating IP-related knowledge to gain global competitiveness; and • Facilitating formulation and implementation of IP policies and laws to encourage contextual and inclusive innovation. Any individual or institution with active interest, commitment, engagement and expertise in the field of IP can become IPPSON’s member. Membership categories include: general (yearly or lifelong), honorary, and institutional.
